2021: A HELLUVA YEAR!

Each New Year, I set personal and professional goals that guide me throughout the entire year. As I reflect, I was able to focus on what was important in my business and personal life. The achievements were gratifying, especially in this long, challenging COVID environment. Life is clearly too short to let obstacles get in our way of happiness and success.

Our family business, Paraco Gas, had a successful year, and we were able to reward our employees with bonuses that exceeded any of the previous years. I was able to transition the day-to-day management of the business to my Executive Team, led by Christina Armentano and Kevin Watson, our COO and CFO. We continue to expand our family business and purchased our 54th acquisition, Warner’s Propane and Oil, in Gilbert, PA.

I am proud and know my father, Pat Armentano, would be too as I found a solution to a long-term family problem resulting in a win-win buyout of my two younger brothers. After thirteen years working on writing a business and memoir story, I became a new Author, publishing my first book, A Helluva Ride: How a Father-Son Family Business Overcame Crisis To Achieve The American Dream.

My work-life balance has never been stronger. Paula and I have been able to go on many adventurous trips. Her son, Christian, entered Gettysburg College. It has been great working and mentoring my daughter Christina and her children, our grandchildren Noelle and Sam continue to bring joy into our lives. My son Christopher and I spent many special days together, and he is happy in his life with his career and girlfriend Samantha.

I have already set my goals for next year. I will continue to be the CEO of Paraco Gas but want to do more teaching, mentoring, coaching, and community work. I am thankful for the support of my employees, friends, and family.

A toast to 2022 and wishing for another “Helluva Year.”
